She holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Chicago Booth, is a graduate of the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and Coaching and Leadership International (CLI), and is certified by the International Coach Federation.

Victoria Cook is a professionally trained Executive and Personal Coach. Victoria helps her clients climb their unique ladders of success while FIRST ensuring they’re leaning against the right wall. Ms. Cook had a successful 15-year career in Information Technology before making a conscious decision to move away from computers and towards people. By shifting her focus to Communications, Organizational Development and Corporate Cultural Change, Victoria utilized her understanding of the big picture to grow leadership abilities in several business divisions. She also helped make mission and vision statements a reality, creating positive changes in corporate culture throughout the business.
Desiring to have this same impact on a personal level, Victoria pursued professional training as a coach and graduated from CTI (The Coaches Training Institute). CTI is one of the only programs accredited by the International Coach Federation, the governing body of the coaching profession. She is an ACC certified member of the International Coach Federation, and a member of the International Association of Coaches and the Chicago Coaching Alliance.

Thomas A. Horne
Thomas A. Horne is an Executive Coach and mentor to CEO’s, Business Partners, Vice Presidents, General Managers, and other leaders in privately owned, middle market, businesses. He coaches and advises leaders who aspire to make a significant impact on the results and direction of their companies, with those they lead, and those with whom they come in contact in business and life. He has worked with the top and mid-level leadership teams of most of the world’s largest ice cream producers in new product and market development endeavors. He built Guernsey Bel’s revenues up from $700,000 to over $30 MILLION prior to selling the company in 1999. He then managed various consulting assignments in privately owned businesses and, as a partner, developed a new soy foods ingredient and soymilk business named Signature Ingredients.
In 2001, Tom became a graduate Business Coach and now works as a valued business advisor, coach, and change agent with CEOs and executives of privately owned and family-owned businesses. He is a visionary leader, has a keen sensitivity of interpersonal relationships and motivations in private businesses, and understands firsthand the fears of personal growth and change. He lives through and according to his values in the practice of CEO and Executive Coaching.
Tom is an accountant, has been active in the Young President’s Organization, the World President’s Organization, is a member of various Chambers of Commerce in the Chicago area, is a member and former Board member of the Chicago Coaching Federation, participates as a Board Member of Park Castle Condo Association, is a longtime member of St. Mary’s Church Choir (bass), and is the Chair of the Faith Awareness Ministry at St. Mary’s Church of Evanston, IL. Carl Nielson is founder and Managing Principal of the Nielson Group, formed in1998, and Success Discoveries, founded in 2003.The Nielson Group specializes in maximizing human capital by identifying talents, leveraging strengths, helping managers engage their employees and equipping teams to be more effective. Carl has been recognized as an expert in predictive selection assessments, team development and high potential and executive coaching. Success Discoveries was created to provide individuals with personal effectiveness programs and services from a consortium of independent coaches. Prior to starting his own company, Nielson worked for 18+years in human resource management in oil and gas exploration and production, fun foods manufacturing, and professional services. His corporate responsibilities included managing organizational reengineering, developing and managing hiring strategies, designing compensation and performance management programs, supporting employee relations, ensuring effective leadership development and designing and implementing HR technology solutions. These experiences gave him a solid foundation for designing pro-active, strategic solutions that result in higher performance and lower costs for his clients. Melissa is a certified life and executive coach through the Coaches Training Institute and the International Coaching Federation. She has been in private practice since 2004 when she founded Ripple Effects Coaching. Melissa’s areas of specialty include leadership development, personal growth, relationships and divorce. Her ideal clients are those desiring growth and willing to be open, introspective and honest. Melissa’s coaching helps clients gain new insights and perspectives, more positive results and achievement of their dreams.
Melissa has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Counseling. She is also a professional corporate facilitator with over 20 years’ experience conducting leadership workshops for Fortune 100 companies. Melissa uses her expertise to train leaders on how to empower others through coaching and effective leadership practices. She is currently a facilitator and executive coach at HSBC Bank. Melissa devotes her personal time as volunteer for the American Cancer Society, acting as a resource to women with breast cancer. She has run grief and divorce groups in her community, and is a volunteer facilitator for Woman to Woman International. Melissa works with the Midwest branch, “Woman Within,” to conduct weekends dedicated to the personal transformation of women.
